"As Europe’s most southern ski resort, Sierra Nevada enjoys more days of sunshine per year than anywhere else in the continent - over 80% of days are sunny! The region is full of contrast with the historical city of Granada, just 30 minutes away by car and 70 minutes away from the Mediterranean Sea. It means that you could ski in the morning and be on the coast in the afternoon if you want! Direct flights from London City Airport to Granada Airport (54 km - 50 minutes) and flights from all around Europe to Malaga International Airport (140 km - 2 hours) mean it's easy to get there too. The resort boasts more than 105 kilometres of ski runs for all levels and 120 marked slopes served by 22 lifts. The resort base level is at 2,100m and the top lift is at 3,300m with Veleta peak at 3,398m. This means you can ski the longest uninterrupted vertical drop in Spain of 1,200 metres. Our 353 snow cannons guarantee exceptional snow quality in optimum conditions and there is snow cover from the end of November through to early May. Sierra Nevada's terrain park offers one of the longest slopestyle lines in Europe with a total of 70 elements of which you can hit as many as 46 obstacles in a single run. If we put every jump, rail & box in place there are 110 features in the snow park. Located right in the middle of a national park, we offer a wide range of mountain activities in summer, such as cycling up to the height of 3,000 metres in 30km of trails along the Sierra Nevada Bike Park.
