Hi Asher, If you have a clip stick there is sometimes a Velcro attachment for you to do this. However, if you haven't got a clip stick then dont worry, just check out this handy video from Jonathan Siegrist: http://www.epictv.com/media/podcast/how-to-make-your-own-clip-stick-with-jonathan-siegrist-%7C-q-tip/602579 Hope that helps, Dave

Hi Shannon, It's completely safe. Sometimes you might even want to set up certain quickdraws this way to make them easier to clip or even to avoid the gate of the carabiner opening against the rock. Hope that helps, Dave

Hey Tómas, Only one end of your quickdraws should have a rubber stay on. the stay is to help make it easier for you to clip the rope through and to prevent the carabiner from cross loading. The other end should be allowed to move freely in a bolt or on a piece of gear to reduce rope drag and also prevent cross loading. Hope that helps, Dave

Hi Rodney, If you are careful then there is no danger in doing this. The danger arises when the carabiner becomes attached to the rubber stopper but not to the sling. Sometimes this can be hard to notice. When you fall all your weight will load onto the rubber stopper which will almost certainly break. Please see this video for further explanation: https://vimeo.com/4138205 Hope that helps, Dave

Hi Alex, You will often find on quickdraws that the carabiner at one end has a straight bar and the other has a bent bar. The main advantage of a bent gate is that it makes clipping the rope much, much easier. Hope that helps, Dave
