The Understanding (V15/8C)

Nalle has a habit of rolling into climbing areas and finishing off their most famous longstanding projects. 'The Understanding' (V15/8C) is perhaps his most well-known ascent in this style. With an outrageous starting sequence and a highball finish, it's not surprising that the line resisted attempts for so long. However, having dedicated a monumental amount of time and effort to the problem, Nalle eventually made the first ascent in 2013. (For an idea of how highball that finish really is, check out Jimmy Webb making the second ascent).
