In the last episode in our Marins' Alps Project series, Edu Marin and his father Novato set off to Austria to tackle Alexander Huber's 8b+ Sansara on the east face of the Grubhorn. This massive 200 meter route, close to the Tyrolean village of Lofer, consists of several massive roofs and pushes Edu close to his mental and physical limit. With Sansara conquered, the Marins' Alpine mission is complete, but Edu is already looking ahead to next year's challenge.
After sending the massive 8c big wall, Panorama, Edu Marin and his father Francesco Marin (more affectionately know as Novato) are back with a new father-son project to complete: A European road trip through Switzerland, France, Austria and Spain with three big wall climbs and one mega-difficult, high-altitude sport climb. Follow their progress in new series, The Marins’ Alps Project, as they take on one of their biggest challenges yet, and get inspired by some serious family bonding.
