In this episode of The Dance a crack crew of Chilean paddlers based out of the Maipo River/ Santiago area travels south to the adventure capital of Pucón, tucked into the foothills of Patagonia. There they find the rivers of Pucón which contain some of the most beautiful and ferocious waterfalls in the world.
How incredible does this area look? We're half expecting a brontosaurus to pop its head around the corner. Doesn't happen, but the beast at 1:33 is a good consolation.
Kayakers Find a Whitewater Lost World in the Foothills of Patagonia | The Dance, Ep. 5
The Dance series stems from all the (extra) footage that the Nomade group has shot in amazing places all over the world. Each edit is centered around the sport of kayaking but has heavy emphasis on the peripherals that for us are such a big part of why we take these trips to such far away places. The Dance was shot on location in Canada, Chile, Mexico, Peru and the United States.
