Every road trip has its hang-ups... but normally a tropical storm isn't one of them.
In the city of Acapulco, the Salty Conscience team got caught in the midst of one of the worst tropical storms of the last 20 years. Big lessons were learned with this extreme experience, as the crew realized that people still had hope and faith even after losing everything.
The weather finally calmed down, allowing them to continue their road trip where they visited different cultural locations and met up with a very interesting NGO that helps families without resources to start a new life by building households from reusable materials AND teaching future generations about recycling and constructing doubly-valuable homes.
