A challenging snowpack in Fieberbrunn Kitzbuheler Alpen caused organizers to move the third Freeride World Tour 2014 stop to Kappl, which is also in the Tirol region of Austria. The start gate was perched atop 2,800 meters of rock and snow, ready and waiting for the competitors. Variable snow conditions made landings tricky and required riders to execute impeccable control. The pressure to become a 2014 FWT champion is surely increasing. Julien Lopez had a good time during the waiting period in Fieberbrunn, as he was given the opportunity to drive a race car 'round the ice track and relax with other international competitors before the competition kicked off. Riders didn't have a lot of time to check the face and to find a nice line and as a result, many riders fell over during competition. Julien chose a very original line with the biggest jump of this FWT stop in Austria. Have a look at this brand new Powdcast and see you soon for more of Julien during the FWT.
