Tenaya give us first look at their brand new climbing shoe the Iati. Designed by the same team that brought us the award-winning Oasi, the Iati is similarly focused on precision and performance though with an added emphasis on comfort. The downturn of the shoe is intended to feel very natural for the wearer while Tenaya's Draxtor's lacing ensures a good, tight fit. With a firm heel construction and extra rubber over the toes for hooking, the Iati won't be out of place on boulders but we expect it to find a home among sport climbers where its precision and performance on steep ground will really pay dividends. Haven't really been bothered by Tenaya shoes until now as they've generally looked too aggressive or too basic, but this looks like a good all-round shoe.
