After Michael O'Rourke made the first ascent of the Phoenix (V14/8b+) it drew the attention of Daniel Woods and Dave Graham, two of Colorado's strongest rock climbers. Daniel set strait to work on the low start and made quick progress and Dave joined in soon after adding a bit of fuel to the competitive fire. But conditions and the sheer difficulty of the line made it a real battle between the two boulder hounds to nab that coveted 2nd ascent. Watch how it all played out in this video.
