The Tarantula is La Sportiva's entry-level to intermediate climbing shoe that'll go anywhere and do anything, with a velcro closure system for super-quick ons and offs. Constructed with comfort in mind, the Tarantula features a mildly asymmetric profile and a comfort fit, but with a nice stiff sole that allows you to be aggressive on steep routes and tiny edges. The combination of an unlined synthetic leather upper lined mesh tongue add even more comfort and help to deal with sweaty feet, while the sole is super-durable and sticky for on-point edging and gripping. All in all, the Tarantula is ideal for an intermediate climber who wants an all-round rock shoe to throw at anything, from slabs to multi-pitches to boulder problems.

There not that durable. I've had mine for 2 months and they are already starting to fall apart. That's with me climbing 2/3 times a week indoors. I'd recommend going for something more durable. The pair of shoes I had before where red chilli they lasted me a year.
