First, we’re off to South Africa, where US Climber and EpicTV star Paul Robinson has been developing a new bouldering area, 100km south of Rocklands. He’s made 35 first ascents, including a 16 move 8C, “In the Depths of Solitude”. Paul has now done more than 600 problems of 8A or higher and has put up the first ascent of 15 8B+ or harder. He is now heading to Brazil for more bouldering so I’m sure we’ll be talking about him again soon.
To finish the week, we’ve got another brilliant video from Simon Bishoff at Climb Tasmania, who sent us this brilliant video of Gina Sorensen Climbing Antimatter (23) 7a at the Star Factory, on Freycinet Peninsula in Tasmania.
