2014 has been an incredible year for sport climbing as standards continue to be pushed by more athletes than ever before. With so many strong climbers establishing and repeating tough climbs around the globe, picking out a top 3 for this year was harder than ever before. After some serious discussion in the Climbing Daily offices, our final podium consists of: Stefano Ghisolfi for his ascent of 'TCT,' Alex Megos for his third go ascent of 'Biographie/Realization' and Adam Ondra who comfortably took the top spot following an unprecedented year of 9a onsights, 9b repeats and an incredible sport climbing century.
