Today we report on the sad news of the death of US Climber, BASE jumper and adventurer Sean Leary, who’s appeared on several successful EpicTV series’ over the past couple of years. Sean started climbing in the Sierra Nevada of his native California and quickly moved into speed climbing big walls around the World, most notably in Yosemite. His list of achievements in America’s best known climbing area is nothing short of incredible and on El Capitan alone it includes – * Briefly holding the speed record on the Nose (2 hours 36 minutes) * Breaking the speed record on the Salathe Wall * Climbing three grade VI routes in one day, with Alex Honnold. Sean was killed BASE jumping in Moab, Utah and was found a couple of days ago have been reported missing. He leaves behind a wife, unborn child, his parents, a sister and 2 brothers.
