A few weeks back we reported on our Facebook page that French climber Melissa le Neve had made the first female ascent of Wolfgang Gullich’s 8c test piece “Wallstreet” in the Frankenjura region of Germany. Well, now the video is out and it looks even tougher than it sounded when we first heard about it!
Melissa needed 10 days effort to do the route, the main difficulties of which are packed into the final 4 metres, which feature a heel hook that makes my hips ache just looking at it.

Next, we’ve got a video that will probably increase sales of flights to Melbourne, Australia. It’s Adidas athletes Maya Goban Smith and Ben Rueck climbing some of the best and steepest lines that the Country has to offer and it looks amazing. Sit back and prepare to get pumped.
