Kangchengjunga, the World's 3rd highest mountain, where Russian tough guy Denis Urubko summited alone after climbing a variation of the British route on the N face. His 4 teammates were worried about the unstable nature of the terrain below the summit but Denis pushed on, adding to his already World class CV. On the south side of the same mountain, Spanish climber Carlos Soria became the oldest person to summit the peak at age 75. He now holds the "oldest" record on 7 of the World's 14 8000m peaks!
