Ashima Shiraishi has had a day that she will likely never forget. Climbing in Southern New York State, Ashima managed to quickly make ascends of 'Worthless' (8A/V11) and 'Wetness The Fatness' (8A+/V12) before making the second ascent and first female ascent of the (8B+/V14) boulder 'Nuclear War'. So that's an 8A, an 8A+ and an 8B+ all in 1 day! Alex Puccio continues her unbelievably impressive road to recovery since tearing her ACL and part-tearing her MCL 4 months ago. After flashing an 8A/V11 last week, Alex has now made an ascent of the V13/8B ‘Don’t Get Too Greedy’ in Rocky Mountain National Park. German powerhouse Alex Megos has continued his recent run of first ascents by climbing the New River Gorge project ‘Super Pod’. Alex has graded it 9a/5.14d, making it the hardest route in the area.
