On today's show as well as bringing you a look at Scarpa's latest performance shoe, The Furia, we're catching up with British mountaineer Kenton Cool. Kenton was at the event representing Sherpa, but we managed to catch a few minutes with him to discuss his long-standing relationship with Everest, a mountain he still believes has something to offer the climbing community. Chatting with famous mountaineers is all well and good but ISPO is about gear at the end of the day so here's the best new climbing shoe we found at the event. The Scarpa Fruria has been designed with maximum sensitivity in mind, but has retained a stiff construction thanks to its patent pending power-connection-band. Scarpa have also concentrated on the heel and toe construction, providing a shoe that is guaranteed to perform whether you're edging or heel hooking.
