As if the arrival of the snow in Chamonix weren't enough to convince Charlie to hang up his rock shoes, a trip to the slightly forgotten Chamonix classic, the Aiguilles Dorees leaves Matt and Charlie disappointed.
Despite the early, and very cold start, Charlie and Matt make it to the top of the plateau only to find that their climbing plans have been scuppered by natural disasters.

Aiguille Dorées Traverse, Chamonix Alpine Climbing Classic | Chalk and Granite, Ep. 4
Chalk and Granite is a showcase of some of the noteworthy climbs around the Chamonix valley. We follow Charlie Boscoe, a long time climber and mountaineer as he ascends varying faces with many of the local climbers in Chamonix, from cragging to big rock. Climbing is a serious sport, we aim to show the lighter, more humorous side of it, with plenty of banter and antics, with the intention a creating a series that makes people want to come out and try it themselves.
