A Witness to the Sickness | Cedar Wright Climbing Reels, Ep. 1

Best known as an adventurous professional climber, Cedar Wright is also a talented filmmaker. He cut this wild and scenic action from a climbing reel exclusively for EpicTV and this is what he had to say, 'My fascination with filmmaking started on the other side of the lens as a climber in several popular climbing features. It was while shooting with Peter Mortimer and Nick Rosen from Sender Films that I truly began to appreciate the creative art of filmmaking. I decided I wanted to try my own hand at it and bought a cheap video camera and began to mess around with shooting and editing. I was immediately obsessed with the whole process, and since then have cut countless short films of my talented friends climbing. While I was compiling footage for this reel it struck me how lucky I have been to travel the world and shoot some of the world's best climbers on such beautiful climbs. My climbing videos are for the climbers; a little entertainment and inspiration for the community that has given me a career and a beautiful life. I am very grateful.
