Epic fact no 83,410: A 'hydrometeor' is any water or ice particle that forms on the Earth's surface due to condensation or sublimation. They can be as harmless as clouds, or as annoying and dangerous as airborne ice particles. Winter tends to increase the frequency of the worst kinds of hydrometeors, a fact that makes life difficult for skydivers and BASE jumpers. The Venetian is not letting adverse conditions keep him on the ground, though. Instead, he's spending plenty of time goofing around with friends in the indoor skydiving chamber and even squeezing in the occasional BASE jump when the weather clears enough.
