After learning these 'secrets' James decides to spend his winter ticking off more 5.12s, inching closer to his goal. The route, 'Book Of Condolences' 5.12b (and pretty heavily sandbagged) is different from any other in the canyon and has shut down some of the best climbers in the world, including the legendary Chris Sharma.
With temps hovering around freezing, no foot holds and nothing but a vicious little crack to pull on, James has his work cut out for him.
