Paige Claassan has pulled off a hugely impressive first repeat of 'Art Attack', an 8c Slab in Northern Italy, at Sasso Remeno. This route was put up back in 2004 and until now has not been repeated.
This is not out the blue for a climber who is no stranger to the technical climbs. She has repeated Sasha Digiulian's 'Rolihlahla', 8b at Waterval Boven in South Africa this summer. Another hard route that she has done is 'Grand Ole Opry' an 8c/+ at the Monastery, Colorado, which was the first female ascent of the route in September, 2010.
Paige has been on a world wide tour of late, where she has been climbing and raising awareness of different charities and Non-Profit Organisations. She has already been to South Africa, and her latest offering is from Russia.
