On our final day at the Kandersteg Ice Climbing Festival, we catch up with Ines Papert to talk about her recent first ascent of Likhu Chuli 1 in Nepal, and give you the action of the night drytooling final which signals the end of the festival. Nice!
In today's news we bring you UK climbing's dynamic duo, Pete Whittaker and Tom Randall. The two have broken the Staffordshire "Nose" record in English Peak District. The Staffordshire 'Nose' Challenge is also known as the 'Brown-Whillans Day Out', and involves climbing all the Joe Brown and Whillans routes at The Roaches, Hen Cloud and Ramshaw. Originally, the challenge was to simply complete the routes in 24 hours, but since Tom and Pete set the first record, it has become, much like the Nose, a test of climbing speed and efficiency.
Stay tuned on http://www.epictv.com/ for the upcoming series, premiering 13th January.
