Today we’re focusing on the upcoming film called Valley Uprising, which charts the history and development of Yosemite climbing. We sat down with Nick Rosen the co-director of the film to find out a little about what the film is all about. The filmmakers have brought old photos of legends such Royal Robbins and Lynn Hill to life and welded these with more recent footage of modern day pioneers such as Alex Honnold to create a stunning record of Yosemite’s rock climbing revolution.
The full length film premiered in Boulder, Colorado in front of over 2500 people and is currently being shown in venues across the Globe as part of a huge World tour, which is visiting 40 Countries and playing 450 dates.
