Chris Webb Parsons, a super strong climber from Australia mainly known for his numerous bouldering achievements, published his way of Hangboarding in a video on Vimeo over three years ago, claiming it was the main source of his outstanding finger strength (here you can check it out: https://vimeo.com/61430224 ).
It evolves around relatively advanced methods like hanging one handed and using solely the half crimp grip. Of course I was super psyched on trying this program myself, and in the meantime I gathered some experience with it! In this video I'm going to review this Hangboard Training Regimen with all it's key points, while sharing my thoughts/experiences/criticisms on certain things and giving you guys some general tips for advanced, one handed Hangboarding. What I forgot to mention in the vid: Chris suggested at least two of these sessions per week for significant gains. As a minimum rest period between sessions I would suggest 36 hours. If you're having some experience with this kind of Training, may it be good or bad, please leave a comment, I'm always interested in your opinion! As always, don't forget to like, share, subscribe and I'll see you soon!
