Climbing in Scotland is often referred to as atmospheric and British climbing in general is frequently labelled as esoteric, so it is only fitting that this Scottish video from Paul Diffley of Hot Aches Productions is the epitome of both of these qualities. In how many other countries would the idea to light up a crag with glowing lights and fill the base of it with smoke have been seen through to fruition? (Especially when it involved hauling three generators up a hill!) Probably not many, but this is the UK after all, one of the few places you can see a climber sending hard dry-tooling routes above a man-made hell mouth.
