Looks like standard Hollywood hyperbole to me. Also it's a shame they didn't film any actual mountains - that CGI just doesn't capture the grandeur at all.
I'm excited to see it!
It's going to be a bloody joke but I'll watch it anyway. Maybe when it comes out on DVD cause going to the cinema might be embarrassing. Pardon my French.
Surely it will be like vertical limit... 5* cinima.
Whateverest
It is, indeed, the end of days. The thought of it is appalling - and, strictly speaking, so is the resulting film. As you might expect from a movie rushed into production to cash in on a phenomenon, it isn't particularly well-written and is occasionally quite terrible. All that being said, however, there's also no denying that the mutt at the heart of this enterprise has a charm all his own.
I took this from a review of "Pudsey the Dog: The Movie" but I think it's a pretty accurate review nonetheless.
well, I bet from time to time you need a blockbuster, I hope that at least the climbing sequences are as cool and unrealistic as in mission impossible :)
Hate that Accent.
I wish I didn't know it was filmed in a warehouse in the UK. Kind of kills the vibe for me already but its a great cast.
Really? Pretty amazing, even through the information fully killed my last bit of excitement to see the film...
all the clichés of the world in one trailer.. will watch it though, the story is interesting and Jake Gyllenhaal is good.
It'll be up there with the best of Hollywood for sure
If the film get more people interested in climbing, it will be great. But I wonder would it have been so much harder to make film showing climbing properly / rightly....
s'gonna be awesome! Great Director, great cast...haters gonna hat
