Great Riding Destinations In The French Alps

We follow pro mountain biker Brendan Fairclough to Les Deux Alpes during the Euro Crankworx 2013. Les Deux Alps is one of the biggest bikeparks in France and has a huge amount if terrain and tracks to offer riders of all abilities. In perpetration for the event the organisers pulled out all the stops in order to create something spectacular for all the riders and the large number of fans that came to spectate. Riders like Brendan got the crowds pumped straight away with huge whips and nac-nacs as well as making sure they enjoyed every aspect of the event themselves too.

French rider Kilian Bron takes us for a ride down some very technical and twisty singletrack near Annecy in the French Alps. Kilian then heads on over to Les Gets, another one of France’s biggest and best bike parks making the most of the high speed terrain and jumps that the area is know for.

Alizée Baron shows us around Orcieres 1850, another great spot for riding in the French Alps. Alizée has come from a skier cross background and the trails over in Orcieres 1850 really suit her style of riding, fast, fluid and loads of fun!

Maurin Trocello takes us for a little tour of the hidden forest tracks in Galibier near Granoble in the French Alps.  The singletrack in this area is full of glorious rooty terrain, just perfect to challange your skills an up your game on.

No one likes grocery shopping, but lets be honest, if you got to ride around one of the largest mountain biking area in the Alps, Les Portes du Soleil, to go grab some beers you wouldn’t complain! This is exactly what Harry Steele sets out to do before joining his mates for a BBQ down by the lake.
